A Little About Fremont County

Fremont County Colorado can best be described as the "Gateway to Natures Playground". Fremont County living puts one within minutes of national forests, popular tourist destinations and recreational areas. Its three largest cities are Canon City, Florence and Penrose

Canon City is the largest of the three and its center of commerce. Its downtown area is listed on the National Historic Register. Florence is known for its antique shops and home town atmosphere. It is also in the center of over 40 fishing spots including the Arkansas River which has some of the finest river fishing in the country. Penrose is a spread out community known for its apple orchards and horse ranches.
