Schools

Cañon City School District serves 3600 students in kindergarten through twelfth grades. We have four K-5 elementary schools, one 1-5 exploratory school, one K-8 school, one 6-8 middle school, and two 9-12 high schools. Fremont County pre-school children are fortunate to have a highly regarded early childhood program to prepare them for kindergarten, while our partnership with Pueblo Community College provides expanded opportunities for students who are preparing for life beyond high school. Students in Cañon City receive a quality education in both academics and life skills.
